Contacting a Professional

In order to arrange my project, I would have to make a call to the couselor park person who manages the fields and who's in charge of them. I spoke to my baseball coach to ask him how it works and he's set me up with some ways to get in contact the person. The stressors of this project was finding a day and which field to reserve because baseball season was still going on for community baseball teams. The process made me grow more confident in talking to older adults.  The new insight I have on this process is mainly how smoothly it'll go.

Findings Through Research

I've gathered some new questions regarding my 20 time project. One of the questions being where is this going to take place? I could either have it at the school or at couselor park... As of what time of day, I'm debating on either in the afternoon or the early evening. Where am I going to get the supplies? I could probably either call the Manchester township, my baseball coach or the athletic director in my school.
I think my idea for pursuing my passion is going well. I've learned/will learn how to coordinate things efficiently. I think this will be beneficial for my future because it will show me how to manage things properly and improve my problem solving and leading skills. I also think this way will strengthen my passion for baseball because you need a lot of people to play baseball and since this way we'll have a lit out people, it should be a lot of fun too.

Changing Society Through Baseball

My goal to change society through baseball is to make it recognizable to the community that it's a fun way to communicate with people. I think my passion for baseball can help anyone from different varieties from rich to poor, and from older to young. My end goal for 20 time/Genius hour would be to just have fun with other people and express my passion to as many people as I can.

Inquiry Questions for Further Research~
How many people do I need to contact in order to organize a baseball game?
How many people should I include in the games?
Is the anyway i can get sponsors to support my event?
At what time of day should my even be held?
What should be the age range among the participants?

Passionate About Baseball

What I am passionate about is baseball. I'm passionate about baseball, because I've been playing it for a long time, and I've really grown to like it and appeal to it. I knew I was passionate about baseball growing up, because playing it made me feel like i was comfortable with everything about it. I first started playing tee ball in kindergarten when I lived in Belcamp, Maryland. Back then I just played for my school and as I was growing up, my relatives played it often so I was always getting practice. I played in my first little league at age 8 when I lived in Central California, and started in AA (Double A). What i enjoyed most about my passion about baseball is that it's relieving in a way, hence the saying "let it out on the ball".
